Graphic Design Fundementals

Whilst doing my research for the GDF I came across a lot of great Graphic Communication. I was looking at examples of health related design. This is a very wide subject and encompasses an infinite range subcategories. Due to this, the number of approaches that can be taken is never ending. As a viewer of the pieces that I found, these specific ones stood out greatly. It is interesting to see though, that approaches of stark opposition have the ability to be equally effective.

Before writing the recipe for the GDF, I thought about the necessary elements to be included in a piece of effective Graphic Communication aimed at 20-30 year old style conscious people in order to promote becoming healthier.

I arrived at the conclusion that it was important to either have a strong image/rendered image or a very strong catchphrase.

The pieces of Graphic Design below are some of the most effective that I came across during my research. As I mentioned above, I find it fascinating how two extreme opposite approaches can have equally effective outcomes.
